Wind Costs Could Be Cut In Half By 2030
Science and innovation have helped propel renewable energy into the mainstream, and they will continue to fuel that trend into the future. According to a recent report by the Department of Energy (DOE), science could help dramatically reduce the cost of wind power over the next decade. In August, the DOE’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) released a report, entitled “Enabling the SMART Wind Power Plant of the Future through Science-Based Innovation.”
