Silica! Just the word alone conjures images of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) inspectors, citations, respirators and expensive tools to comply with the regulations. Silica! Will every person in construction come down with silicosis? Silica! So, what are the effects from silica on an average or even large contractors working in construction today. Silica! How do we control nature and determine concentrations that are naturally occurring in our environment at a given point in time or at a specific location?
